CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) ACTIVITIES AT JAYPEE BINA THERMAL POWER PLANT, BINA
Being a responsible corporate entity we are committed to doing our bit to contribute wholeheartedly towards sustainable development of the society & to create better opportunities with social equality for all in our immediate neighbourhood.
Attending to the medical and educational needs of the populace in our neighbourhood constitutes the core of our CSR initiatives. Our CSR initiatives also help in conserving the environment and contributing towards women empowerment. The pandemic no doubt has impacted our CSR activities
About 2500 patients of nearby Villages are usually entertained annually and they are given free medical advice and medicines.
There are 147 students who are wards of land affected category of nearby villages and they are charged a nominal tuition fee of Rs. 150/- only per month.

In view of outbreak of Covid-19 and lockdown condition throughout the country declared by Government of India, Provisions were made to distribute Dry Food Packets around peripheral populace.
Sweet packets are distributed to the students of Schools located at nearby Villages on the occasion of Republic Day and Independence Day every year to promote National Integrity.
To extend benefits to local villagers to reach at the JAIN GURU SAMADHI situated at mid of the Betwa River GHAT has been constructed.
